Join me for a fun, live online art class suitable for small or large groups, learning to draw traditional mandalas.
I’ll show you with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions, how to draw a mandala template followed by how to make beautiful mandala designs. Once you’ve learned a few simple techniques, you’ll be amazed at how simple it is.
I’ve taught hundreds of people of varying abilities and even those who think they can’t draw are pleasantly surprised by what they can achieve. The class is aimed at adults but is suitable for children over 12 (or younger for Method Two – see below).
All participants will need a compass and a protractor to draw the template. If that isn’t practical, an alternative is to use a pre-drawn mandala template which I can send for everyone to print out before the class.
Whichever method you opt for, participants will discover a wide range of design elements inspired by traditional Asian mandalas. By the end of the class, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to continue drawing mandalas, making each one unique.
Method One: Using a compass and protractor (up to 2 hours)

Method One Equipment:
Geometry compass
Protractor
Pencil
Paper (at least 20cm by 20cm but bigger is okay too)
Clear plastic 30cm ruler (and ideally a 6cm ruler)
Eraser
Smudge-proof fineliner pen
Cutting mat or an old magazine (to go under your paper when using the compass so that you don’t scratch your tabletop)
Method Two Equipment:
Printed template (which I will send as a jpg ready to print out)
Clear plastic 30cm ruler (and ideally a 6cm ruler)

After the class, participants can be sent full instructions in PDF form (so there is no need to take notes during the class) as well as a worksheet to inspire their future designs.
Please make sure every participant has the required equipment for the method chosen.

How It Works 👩💻
If your team is already using the Reaction Club app, booking your activity is simple and fast. Select the activity you want and wait for the vendor to approve the booking.
Once approved, the app will make the activity available to your team. All necessary details, including the Zoom link, will already be included. Your team members will receive a notification inviting them to register for the activity.

Is the event recorded? will it be available to employees who couldn't make it?
By default, all events are recorded and can be accessed by your team via the Reaction Club app for up to 30 days. The recording and analytics can also be found on the Reaction admin dashboard. If any exceptions apply, they will be specified beforehand.
Can the session be accessed only from the Reaction Club app or from other devices as well?
Participants are NOT limited to accessing the event through the Reaction Club app. A shareable link will be available on the event page within the app. As an admin, you can also share a link with your team via email. However, please keep in mind that if you share the link via email, automated attendance reports may not function correctly. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to invite employees to access the event through the app for the best experience.
Is there a way to find out how many people went to the session?
Yes, the platform offers automated reports that allow you to view the list of individuals who registered for and attended your event.
Can i open and introduce the session first before the vendor starts?
Certainly! If you have any special requirements, please let us know after booking a session so we can coordinate them with the vendor.
How can I be sure that the vendor will host a successful session for my team?
Prior to adding any vendors to our marketplace, we subject them to a VAT (Vendor Assessment Test) to ensure that their presence will contribute to the success of your business. Our vendor requirements are stringent, and only a small percentage of applications successfully pass through our selection process, which is aimed at maintaining a high-quality service.
What is something isn't working technically?
We utilize Zoom, which is integrated into our software, to stream the sessions. This guarantees a dependable technical solution. Furthermore, our support team is accessible throughout the entire event – before, during, and after – to provide assistance in the event of any issues.
