Description: This is the perfect activity for work teams. It’s a great and engaging way for teams to bond and let loose while still relaxing. Plus, it’s encouraged to have your favorite beverages on hand during this experience. Drawing can be more fun when it includes adult beverages, but it is not at all required to have fun.
In this 60 minute class, we’ll learn how to make fast, abstract blind contour drawings. Blind contour is when you look at your object without looking down at the paper.
We’ll warm up with quick activities like shading and cross-hatching. This practice warms up your hand-eye coordination and gets your mind and body for the next sections.
Then we’ll spend 10 mins drawing any household object you want. Some common objects that guests love to draw are plants, shoes, or your cup. Then we’ll share our drawings together.
Next we move onto portraits. While looking in the camera, guests will draw what they see without looking, or picking their pencils off the paper. As a fun side, whenever someone looks at their paper, we all have to take a drink!
I want everyone to leave with a greater sense of their own natural artistic abilities. Because we are creating tangible pieces of artwork, we can see and appreciate (and usually laugh at) the end results together. The feedback has been excellent and most guests have said they felt closer to their peers and coworkers.
What to Bring:
-Charged laptop or phone
-Zoom application already installed
-Drawing tools: pencil and black sharpie or black marker
-Some pieces of blank paper, at least 8″x10″
-Beverage(s) of your choice
-Household objects that you want to draw: Cup or mug, and a plant or a shoe
-OPTIONAL: Colored pencils, marker, or paint

How It Works 👩💻
If your team is already using the Reaction Club app, booking your activity is simple and fast. Select the activity you want and wait for the vendor to approve the booking.
Once approved, the app will make the activity available to your team. All necessary details, including the Zoom link, will already be included. Your team members will receive a notification inviting them to register for the activity.

If your team isn’t using the Reaction Club app yet, once the booking is confirmed you’ll receive a QR code and link to invite them. The app is designed to engage team members prior to the event, creating excitement and motivation to attend.

Is the event recorded? will it be available to employees who couldn't make it?
By default, all events are recorded and can be accessed by your team via the Reaction Club app for up to 30 days. The recording and analytics can also be found on the Reaction admin dashboard. If any exceptions apply, they will be specified beforehand.
Can the session be accessed only from the Reaction Club app or from other devices as well?
Participants are NOT limited to accessing the event through the Reaction Club app. A shareable link will be available on the event page within the app. As an admin, you can also share a link with your team via email. However, please keep in mind that if you share the link via email, automated attendance reports may not function correctly. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to invite employees to access the event through the app for the best experience.
Is there a way to find out how many people went to the session?
Yes, the platform offers automated reports that allow you to view the list of individuals who registered for and attended your event.
Can i open and introduce the session first before the vendor starts?
Certainly! If you have any special requirements, please let us know after booking a session so we can coordinate them with the vendor.
How can I be sure that the vendor will host a successful session for my team?
Prior to adding any vendors to our marketplace, we subject them to a VAT (Vendor Assessment Test) to ensure that their presence will contribute to the success of your business. Our vendor requirements are stringent, and only a small percentage of applications successfully pass through our selection process, which is aimed at maintaining a high-quality service.
What is something isn't working technically?
We utilize Zoom, which is integrated into our software, to stream the sessions. This guarantees a dependable technical solution. Furthermore, our support team is accessible throughout the entire event – before, during, and after – to provide assistance in the event of any issues.
