What is wellbeing? Wellness and wellbeing are words thrown around daily, but do we actually take note of what they mean? More importantly, do we do anything to promote better health and wellbeing?
Ask yourself what do you do for yourself?
Do you take your lunch break?
Do you take your work home with you?
Do you find time to exercise?
Do you find time to meditate?
Often we hear the same excuse, I have no time! We are so consumed by our jobs, our busy social lives, taking care of others, that we forget to take care of ourselves because we have no time left. The results, we burn out, we get sick, we have poor relationships, we don’t do our jobs to the best ability, and we are not living our best life.
This can change with time focussed on you, from 10 minutes a day of meditation, learning how to control your breathing, attending a yoga class, writing a journal; to setting boundaries at work and in our relationships, we can take control of our time and live happier more fulfilled, less stressful lives.
