An Employee Action Day with The Conservation Volunteers is a bespoke and exciting team-building project, planned and delivered for you at your choice of location across London or the South East. Employer Supported Volunteering enables your team to carry out hands-on practical conservation and environmental work, to improve green spaces for biodiversity and benefit your community.
Our fully trained leaders will work with you to identify a project that meets your requirements, and ensure that your team have a safe and memorable day. Your team will be able to choose from a range of tasks, receive appropriate training and
learn new skills. Working together in a new environment, they will build new synergies with their co-workers, identify their own strengths, and come back energised with the satisfaction of having made a significant contribution.
Through employee volunteering, your team and support can make a huge difference where most needed! Your help is needed on sites ranging from the most beautiful and wildlife friendly in the capital, to the most neglected.
Corporate volunteering has been shown to:
- Increase employee commitment, morale and motivation as employee volunteers have fun outdoors and make a difference to the environment
- Enhance the skills and self-confidence of employees as they take on new challenges and learn unusual new skills

Max Capacity: The only restriction on the maximum number is the availability of a suitable site. Minimum 10 people.
Price: We charge $83 per head +VAT. Some specific tasks will require extra materials, such as trees or seeds, so a quote will be provided once we have identified your specific requirements.

How It Works 👩💻
If your team is already using the Reaction Club app, booking your activity is simple and fast. Select the activity you want and wait for the vendor to approve the booking.
Once approved, the app will make the activity available to your team. All necessary details, including the Zoom link, will already be included. Your team members will receive a notification inviting them to register for the activity.

If your team isn’t using the Reaction Club app yet, once the booking is confirmed you’ll receive a QR code and link to invite them. The app is designed to engage team members prior to the event, creating excitement and motivation to attend.

- Up to 3 business days - full refund (minus processing fees)

Is the event recorded? will it be available to employees who couldn't make it?
By default, all events are recorded and can be accessed by your team via the Reaction Club app for up to 30 days. The recording and analytics can also be found on the Reaction admin dashboard. If any exceptions apply, they will be specified beforehand.
Can the session be accessed only from the Reaction Club app or from other devices as well?
Participants are NOT limited to accessing the event through the Reaction Club app. A shareable link will be available on the event page within the app. As an admin, you can also share a link with your team via email. However, please keep in mind that if you share the link via email, automated attendance reports may not function correctly. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to invite employees to access the event through the app for the best experience.
Is there a way to find out how many people went to the session?
Yes, the platform offers automated reports that allow you to view the list of individuals who registered for and attended your event.
Can i open and introduce the session first before the vendor starts?
Certainly! If you have any special requirements, please let us know after booking a session so we can coordinate them with the vendor.
How can I be sure that the vendor will host a successful session for my team?
Prior to adding any vendors to our marketplace, we subject them to a VAT (Vendor Assessment Test) to ensure that their presence will contribute to the success of your business. Our vendor requirements are stringent, and only a small percentage of applications successfully pass through our selection process, which is aimed at maintaining a high-quality service.
What is something isn't working technically?
We utilize Zoom, which is integrated into our software, to stream the sessions. This guarantees a dependable technical solution. Furthermore, our support team is accessible throughout the entire event – before, during, and after – to provide assistance in the event of any issues.
