Guided Meditation
Did you know that medication has been linked to a number of health benefits, including stress reductions, improved self-awareness and happinesses?
Although this simple approach to helping to focus and quiet the mind can be practiced at anytime during the work day, it’s recommended to start out with a virtual or in-person class led by one of our trained instructors. Employees will learn a number of medication techniques, including how to control their breathing, visualization, mantras, and body scans. Our instructors will also make sure participants have the basic foundations of meditation before moving on to more advanced techniques.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is another type of yoga whose goal is to strive to maintain joint strength and lubrication by stretching the deep connective tissues, bones, joints and ligaments in the body. This therapeutic style of yoga is aimed at strengthening the parasympathetic nervous system as well as lower heart rate and blood pressure. It also helps to strengthen the immune system to maintain good health and reduce the effects of stress-related illness.
Boot Camp
Looking for a class that focuses on strengthening the entire body? Do you want to offer a workout for employees of different fitness levels and ages? With fun games and classes that strengthen and condition the entire body, this Boot Camp experience also creates a team-building experience for your company.
Self-Defense
Another facet of well-being and mental health is feeling safe at all times. Self-defense classes can help employees feel they have the tools they need to defend themselves in dangerous situations. These classes focus on how to defend against an attacker by targeting the most vulnerable body parts and transforming items from everyday items to weapons of defense.
Tai Chi
If you’re looking for an exercise that connects the mind and body, look no further than tai chi. This ancient low-impact Chinese exercise, known as ““meditation in motion,” focuses on the breath and bodily sensations through a series of constant motion. The main goal is to help participants strengthen their qi, or life energy, within themselves, to flow more fully throughout the body. Those who practice tai chi regularly have benefited from stress and anxiety reduction in addition to increased balance, strength, cognitive function and flexibility.
Yoga (Vinyasa)
Vinyasa yoga focuses on working on strengthening flexibility, balance and strength through both seated and reclining poses. It’s a different focus than aerobics, with more attention given to posture, alignment and focusing on breathing. These classes can be tailored to any fitness level and are meant to help employees start and continue their days relaxed and full of renewed strength and energy.
Pilates
Another low-impact choice for your employees is pilates. In pilates. the focus is on the core, or the central part of the body, and the exercises are designed to strengthen it to prevent injuries. This exercise can be designed for people of all fitness levels and is especially suitable for those with physical limitations. Benefits of continuous pilates participation include increased physical strength, flexibility, and posture and improved mental awareness.
Desk Stretch
The perfect antidote to sitting at your desk all day! Expect simple but effective stretches to ease tight and tense muscles. Breathwork included to calm the mind and nervous system.
Zumba
How about offering a class that caters to employees who love dancing? Zumba is a perfect fit since it offers dance and aerobics performed to music with a beat – with movement from hip hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, and mambo. Our instructors make sure anyone participating is getting a good workout while at the same time having fun.
Cardio Kickboxing
Maybe your employees prefer dancing to the beat of a different drum. Cardio kickboxing is a great way to keep moving and enjoy every second. With combinations of movements broken down into simpler steps that can be easily learned and copied, this class can be tailored to beginners or advanced users of all ages. Each class includes a warm up, the combination series, a core workout and cool down – all while moving to the beat of the music.
